Vinylize

For eyewear that truly rocks you can’t beat Vinylize. The first Vinylize prototype was made from a 12″ Creedence Clearwater vinyl. Pilfered from Zachary Tipton’s father’s record collection, the record that influenced a generation was given a new lease on life.

Since 2004 Vinylize has been working with grooves that change the world to create stunning eyewear that stand the test of time. Wear a piece of music history. Today every Vinylize frame is handmade in the European Union.

We are the only Limerick opticians to stock these unique pieces of eye art. Drop by and be amazed by the look and quality.

Ochis eyewear from independent Ukrainian company

We are delighted to partner with Ochis. They are a Ukrainian eyewear maker who continues to spin Coffee grounds into frames despite rolling blackouts and water shortages in Kiev. To quote Max Gavrilenko (Ochis founder): “My father owned an optical store and workshop, where I studied glasses from my very childhood. From this, I saw a lot of glasses and wanted to create a really eco-friendly, comfortable and universal glasses that each person can adjust to themselves. After much iteration, I created a new eco-material that is from coffee and flax from which Ochis eyewear is made.”

We are the only Limerick opticians stocking these unique eco-friendly frames. Drop by the store to try on these statements pieces.
